Linda has been attending the Grantham Church since she was a student at Messiah in the mid-1970’s. Upon graduation, she began her 35-year career with Northern York Co. School District, retiring in 2012. Linda taught Grade 4 and 5 during her first 11.5 years and then transitioned to Middle School Counselor for the remaining years. Linda feels blessed to have been able to help students and families through educational, personal and career decisions/issues. She has also worked part-time and adjunct for Messiah Lifeways and Messiah University.

Linda and her husband Laird raised both of their daughters in the Grantham Church, Liana now living locally and Larissa living in Vermont. They have a grandson, Leland, who Linda and Laird are fortunate to see every day as they are afterschool care for him.

During the 40+ years at the Grantham Church, Linda has enjoyed her involvement with a variety of activities focused on Music Ministry and Children’s Ministry. She is especially delighted to meet the young families of the church as they bring their children for the Sunday morning activities. As a member of the Grantham Church Board, Linda looks forward to new ways of contributing to the mission of the church in the year ahead.
