College Student Ministry
Our desire at Grantham Church is to come alongside students in their walk with Christ. As an intergenerational congregation, students can join with people of all ages and stages of life through small groups, learning communities, worship services, fellowship opportunities, and more. There are also several ways students can use their gifts to serve others in the church and in our community. We would love to help you get integrated into our church family and to journey with you in this exciting season of life!
College Student Welcome
Sunday, Sept 1 @ after service until 1:00PM
Join with other college students, as well as members of the Grantham Church family, to connect, be encouraged, and hear more about how we want to come alongside you in your faith journey during your time in college. After the service, head to Fellowship Hall for a free lunch. Then, bring your dessert down to classroom C8-12 at 12:15pm to hear more about opportunities for students at Grantham Church. Questions? Contact Katie Logan.
Sabbath Service
Tuesday, Sept 17 @ 7:00PM
College can be overwhelming and stressful. Take some time to slow down and rest in Jesus. This service will cap a day off of classes and will include songs, Scripture, and centering prayer. Hosted at Grantham Church with Messiah chapel credit available.
Target Run
Sunday, Sept 22 @ after service
Running low on supplies? Need a ride to Target? Just want to do some shopping? Stay after the service for a quick pizza lunch and a trip to Target! We’ll provide the transportation and an opportunity to win a gift card toward your shopping. We’ll return to campus by 3pm.
Campfire Worship
Sunday, Oct 6 @ 7PM
Join us for a casual, communal time of singing modern worship songs around a campfire. You are welcome to bring any instrument and/or your voice and join us next to the softball field!
Ways to Connect at Grantham
Get to know people of various ages and stages of life over a free lunch twice/month. This is a great way to feel part of our church family and share life together.
Sundays @ 9AM in C9
The Young Adult Learning Community consists of people in their 20s and current Messiah U students who seek to relate biblical truth to their particular life situations as young adults. The time together includes Bible study with questions that help to understand and apply the text, as well as sharing and prayer. Members are also invited to lead discussions. Join as we seek to grow in our faith together and share it with others.
We have families & individuals who would love to come alongside you during your time in college through prayer, occasional meet-ups, and general relational support. If you’d like to get connected with someone, contact Katie Logan.
Receive texts about twice/month with reminders about what’s happening at Grantham Church, as well as short devotionals & encouragements. Text “@gccollege” to 81010 to sign up.
