Denise Fogelsanger
Denise serves as children’s pastor at Grantham Church. Denise received her B.A. in Special Education from Millersville University and a master’s degree from Towson University. Denise grew up in the Church of the Brethren tradition and has found the transition to the Brethren in Christ seamless with a passion for seeking peace, doing justice, and walking humbly with God and those who she comes to share life with. She shares life with her husband Dale, who coaches Cross Country and Track and Field at Messiah University. They have three beautiful daughters, Andrea, Ashley, and Amber who have all attend(ed) Messiah University. Denise’s previous professions found her teaching Special Education in the public-school setting in Maryland before moving to Pennsylvania. As a domestic engineer while raising her own children, she nurtured many others in her home during their younger years. She was the Christian Education director at Mechanicsburg Church of the Brethren and taught at Messiah College’s Early Learning Center for 10 years. Denise enjoys reading, petting her cat, baking for her family, hiking and camping with her family, and enjoys watching historical movies.
