Rowing Against the Wind
Sermon Title: Rowing Against the Wind
Scripture Reading: Mark 6:45-52
Why is life so hard sometimes—stuck at home day after day, month after month, in an unrelenting season of life threatening disease; wrestling with financial uncertainty, or even worse, the loss of a job; perhaps coping with the death of a loved one, or agonizing over a wayward child? Whoever you are, whatever your lot in life, it doesn’t matter—everyone finds themselves at some point “rowing against the wind” and wondering why. So it was with Jesus’ disciples in Mark chapter six. Listen as Phil Thorne shares the lessons Jesus taught them that night on the Sea of Galilee and how they apply to us today.
