Scripture Reading: John 14:15-19; 20:19-23; Romans 8:6-11; 2 Corinthians 5:16-21
The New Testament says that the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is given to reside in those who follow him as disciples. As we see in one Easter encounter with the risen Jesus, the Lord gives us his Spirit to know his peace and be empowered to follow him.
